Trézor® Bridge
Trézor® Bridge is a lightweight background application that enables secure communication between your Trézor hardware wallet and your web browser. It allows you to access web-based wallets like the browser version of Trézor Suite and connect to third‑party platforms such as MetaMask or MyEtherWallet.
The software runs silently on your computer, acting as a “bridge” that allows your browser to detect and communicate with your Trézor device via USB. It is required only when using browser‑based wallets – the Trézor Suite desktop app communicates directly with your device and does not need Bridge.
⚠️ Important Deprecation Notice
Standalone Trézor Bridge has been deprecated by Trézor and is no longer supported. It may not work with newer Trézor models (e.g., Safe 7) or future operating system updates. For the best experience, use the Trézor Suite desktop application – it provides full functionality without the need for Bridge.
If you are still using Bridge, you may experience connection issues or errors like “This device is used by another application.” In such cases, close all browser windows and wallet apps, then reopen only Trézor Suite to ensure a clean connection.
